The Consequences of Playing Unprotected
- Impacts can increase the risk of bruising and the formation of dangerous blood clots due to the breast's extensive capillary network
- Deep breast bruising can lead to fat necrosis (lumps) that look and feel like cancer, forcing women through painful and stressful tests to rule out malignancy
- While there is no evidence that deep breast bruising causes breast cancer, it does create symptoms that require invasive testing to rule it out
- Repetitive breast bouncing during sports can lead to chronic pain thought to be caused by tension on breast skin, internal ligaments and fascia.
- Young athletes risk permanent changes to breast development which can result in potential deformities or asymmetries
- Damage to internal milk ducts could affect the ability to breastfeed later in life

How old do you have to be to wear Boob Protect?
There is no age minimum. We do recommend any girl playing contact sports with or without breast development to wear the inserts as they will protect even the flat chested from potential injury to the breast bud.

What size am I?
Refer to our size chart, it’s very simple to follow.
If in store, simply hold the inserts over your breast. If fits & is comfortable then that’s your size!

I have large breasts, will they fit?
Of course, we cater for a majority of breast sizes, from tiny to huge!

Will I sweat with them on?
Just like any close-fitting garment, if you tend to perspire during activity, you may experience some moisture. However, our inserts feature strategically placed breathable vents specifically designed to maximize airflow and minimize heat buildup, keeping you comfortable.

Are they comfortable
Very! They support as well as protect. No compression. Females love jogging in them because of the added support.

How long do they last?
They last until you lose them or require a new size. Our broad size range allows for breast growth and we have purposely done this to avoid wastage & impact on our precious environment.
